Our History

We started our journey 20 years ago in a small but knowledge-oriented workshop with graduates from the country's top universities, and we proudly passed the hard days.

Kian Transfo Industries is a respected member of the big power industry family in Iran, which showed everyone that what is eternal and effective is the thought of people who present the result of their right thought to their country, which has always been the creator of immortal epics in history. We made expertise, commitment and knowledge the basis of works that caused the first title, sometimes in the region and sometimes in the world, as an honorary document for the country power industry and Kian Transfo industries.

We became knowledge-based and competed victoriously with the world's modern technologies by native technology.

Manufacturing of the world's first HV power compact substation was not just a simple title, this project was the manifestation of knowledge in the minds of young people who, at first glance, did not have any experience in doing a unique and great work, But self-belief and relying on collective knowledge, when it was connected with the compassionate, support and cooperation of the senior managers in the power industry and capable scientific centers of the country, accomplished a task that surprised everyone.

The world's first HV power compact substation of 63KV, which was produced with the power industry and academia support, has now successfully passed various tests and is not the first innovative achievement of industry, university and government cooperation, but it is the beginning of more cooperation in bigger projects.

Following this support, Kian Transfo Industries successfully completed the design and construction of the first gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), which continued and produced by Tooscut Industries, caused Iran to be joined to the six countries producing GIS, and registered another honor in the history of Kian Transfo's knowledge-based company. Now Tooscut Industries, as another member of this family, is designing and producing GIS up to 500 KV and crossing the boundaries of technology in the region.

When it came to loss reduction, we were the first company that, despite all the problems, was able to be the best low loss transformer manufacturer in the Middle East by designing and producing a transformer (3D wound core) with low losses (AC').

Later, with the increase of domestic productions and prospects, we designed and built the first amorphous transformer (commercial term: no-load loss transformer). Although, due to access to abundant and cheap energy resources in the country, it was not approved by the country's market and power industry, and its mass production postponed until a comprehensive reform will be finally made in the country's energy consumption.

Moreover, this series of being the leader continues and we have developed our brand as a provider of solutions in power industry issues by building mobile air bypass systems, mobile pole mounted substations, compact substations for oil wells, etc.

 

Our Strategy

We believe that it will not be possible to achieve and stay in the first place of the regional power industry, except with the efforts of domestic producers in the private sector. Believing that we are all responsible for the improvement of the country's power industry, we have been moving forward with the motto of being pioneer and responsible for many years, on the way to reach the top and stay at the top.

If there is one thing that Kian Transfo is known for, it is going ahead in innovation and finding solutions for any problem.

Tavanir subsidiary companies, power distribution companies, regional electrical companies, oil, gas, and petrochemical companies, steel, copper, aluminum, and cement companies, large mines, agricultural sectors, industrial and residential settlements, etc. are the main customers of our company. In the foreign sector, the previous customers were companies from Venezuela, Russia, Senegal, China, Iraq, Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.

In addition, in the development of our markets, we have targeted the countries of Armenia, Turkey and the Ivory Coast, Oman and Lebanon, and we hope to have strong partners in all neighboring countries of Iran and the West Asian region.

The electricity industry in Iran and abroad sees the name of Kian Transfo along with industries and developments in more than 3000 large projects.
